Ahh, another night being unable to sleep another Last.fm journal entry. Let's see if my sleep deprived mind can make fewer spelling and grammar mistakes this time 'round.

Basically, I've seen several of these list x number of bands you like with the first song you heard by them, the song that made you fall in love, and your current favourite. I'll expand this general idea by also having the song I hate the most, and round off everything with a fun little quiz I made for a school project last year. So without further ado my top however many I finally feel like doing:

1. Tool
First: Lateralus <- Heard over and over again as a drunken friend left it on repeat
Love: Lateralus
Favourite: Parabol/Parabola <- First Tool song I learned the Guitar/Bass part for
Hate: Triad <- Boring as hell, not the best way to end an otherwise great album

2. The Mars Volta
First: Eria Tarka <- Completely weirded out the first time I heard it and hated Cedric's vocals
Love: Inertiatic E.S.P. <- Fast Forward to 'summer camp' and another drunken friend plays De-Loused in the Comatorium. I was hooked
Favourite: L'Via L'Viaquez <- Best track off of Frances the Mute,
Hate: Miranda that Ghost Just Isn't Holy Anymore <- Like Triad a real yawner

3. At the Drive-In
First: Invalid Litter Dept.
Love: Invalid Litter Dept. <- Love at first listen
Favourite: Initiation <- Love the vocal interplay especially on the Acrobatic Tenament version instead of the This Station… version
Hate: Non-Zero Possibility <- Not their best by any measure

4. Rage Against the Machine
First: Killing in the Name Of
Love: Killing in the Name Of <- First song I got off of the internets
Favourite: People of the Sun (Live) <- Live versions of Rage's Songs are always best
Hate: Maggie's Farm <- Worst Dylan cover evar!

5. Jimi Hendrix
First: All Along the Watch Tower <- Heard it on the Radio when I was a youngun
Love: Bold as Love <- Before Tool and Loius Armstong unseated it over a year ago, it was my #1 Most Played Track
Favourite: If 6 was 9 <- "I've got my own world to live though/ and I ain't gonna copy you!"
Hate: Wait Until Tomorrow <- Never thought it was as good as the rest of the Album

6. Eisley
First: Telescope Eyes <- The E.P. 2 version, not the watered down rearrangments for the other EPs and Room Noises
Love: Telescope Eyes
Favourite: Marvelous Things <- So catchy, but not in a bad way
Hate: Telescope Eyes <- The non-E.P. 2 versions are not so high on my list

7. Pink Floyd
First: Speak to Me/Breathe <- The tracks from Dark Side
Love: Time <- The Third track from Dark Side
Favourite: Comfortably Numb <- Couple amazing live bootlegs of this :) And I know this changed from what I posted a couple days ago, but I change all the time
Hate:

8.dead prez
First: Hip-Hop <- Heard it in Dave Chappelle's Block Party
Love; I'm an African <- Never was an African-American
Favourite: 'They' Schools <- Damn good song
Hate: Assassination <- Kinda boring

9. Red Hot Chili Peppers
First: Californicaiton
Love: Californication <- My bro arranged it for his school's Jazz band to play
Favourite: Suck My Kiss <- Just recently crept up there
Hate: Subterrean Homesick Blues <- 2nd Worst Dylan Cover Evar!

10. Bob Dylan
First: Subterrean Homesick Blues <- A drunken friend, noticing a patern?, randomly sent it to me one night
Love: Like a Rolling Stone <- One of the Greatest songs ever
Favourite: Like a Rolling Stong
Hate: Slow Train Coming <- The whole album is kinda 'ick'

11. The Velvet Underground
First: Sweet Jane
Love: Sweet Jane <- Another case of Love at first hear
Favourite: After Hours <- I love Maureen's voice on this
Hate: Anything where Nico sings

12. The Dillinger Escape Plan
First: Sunshine the Werewolf
Love: Sunshine the Werewolf
Favourite: Sunshine the Werewolf <- There isn't much I can say to express the awesomeness of this song
Hate: Anything with their original vocalist

13. Stan Rogers
First: Northwest Passage <- Unfortunately I lost this CD before I could copy it to my computer :(
Love: Barrent's Privateers <- Great song. The Between The Breaks versions is really energetic
Favourite: House of Orange <- One of the saddest songs I've listened to. With the except of White Squall from the same Album
Hate: Giant <- A real Whiskey Tango Foxtrot Moment.

As promised your Quiz!

And to get your results lookt at this. I am aware of the spelling mistakes in that. It was a rough draft, and I'm too lazy to open InDesign and refix all of them.
