Hi =) Yes, you are right, you may have all the tools but iff you have no derise or intention of using them they become useless. So what is it that makes us 'proper' human beings? I think we get influenced by so many things, like our home education, our immediate and not so immediate environment, the school but that doesnt explain how two brothers cna be so different. Maybe we are born with 'goodness', I simply dont know, I am sure alot better people than me tried to investigate more in depth than me ^^ All I know there is so much crap around but maybe that is how we are supposed to be... pessimistic? No, I just say what I see through my eyes.

Yeah Freedom Call are probably the cheesiest band I listen to. Even a power metal fanboy like myself finds their Dimensions album hard to listen to. Their previous albums are great however. Do you listen to Last.FM radio a lot?

Hello ^^ How are thigns going? You touched on a very good point. Regardless of the failures of the education system (which I believe in Germany is worse than here, sorry), it really depends what kind of studies you do. For example all the practical (engineering, science and medical) degrees do is give you the basic tools to become highly specialized in a certain area and provide you the required basic (emphasize the basic) knowledge and way of thinking to succeed in your field of work. Of course problem solving and in general the thought process is/ should be at the highest level. Well... to me that does not make you a better person in any stretch of imagination. Btw that does not mean that graduates with BA of MA (instead of BSc and MSc) are better human but theoretically they are better equipped to think about the society and how to resolve humanitarian issues. Unfortunately money and our greed come into play and destroy everything.... This is getting deep =)

Not only do they invest time and money but they make some of the best power metal ever haha. Have you heard their newest album yet? Also I see you have a lot of Freedom Call plays. I listened to 'Stairway To Fairyland' yesterday, such a good album!

Hmm... interesting. You are right, most of my 'friends' dont have children. I use the 'friends' in the loose sense, I hardly have any real good friends, anyway I diverted. Well, what do you think, does the fact that we are educated makes us more sensitive to the real issues? I am not sure, I have seen so many educated people that we dont care for anything else than their own little world and how to make more money ... great, no? ;)

Yes, I know. Even better I wish there were no nations, politics or religion games... but people luck common sense and are too greedy, too proud and they need an identity to survive...that's what society teaches us. I dont have any children, I dont want to see them suffer because of our mistakes. Extreme views? Perhaps. Anyway, I like the idea of United Nations ID ;) Have a good, long weekend and most of all take care of yourself and enjoy it.

Ok... that really sounds awful. I just dont understand what drives people to behave like this. I have absolutely no words to say and definately no sympathy for them. I was bron in Greece from Armenian parents and now obviously living in England so technically I am foreigner everywhere....

Sorry for the late reply, I just saw your message. I wish you all the happiness in the new house :) Where about's in Germany are you? Will the weblog be in English too? About serious hifi... well, difficult to say but what all equipment are striving towards is as close reproduction to live music as possible. It is very difficult to achieve and it involves not only electronics but alot of psychometrics too. I could tell you huge amount on this subject if you are interested, it is one of my hobbies ^^

Well... you are right, it is over, I hope they like it lots and you get the marks you desire and of course then get a job you want and love. What am I doing? ... Well, we are sort of off work for a while so I am thinking about designing some serious hifi which could provide competition to the big established names in the field. We will see ;) and ... I am currently swearing at one of my servers, it needs a total rebuild and it quite complex. What about you? Are you relaxing a bit now?

Really no need to blush! ...and I am not native English anyway xDDD I was born in Greece but I have been living here for the last ...28 years *he gets depressed* Sooo Thy Majestie, I love them but I much prefer their earlier work. If you get a chance try the 'Hastings 1066' or 'Jeanne D'Arc' CD, much much better ^^
