Great library, you have a lot of The Magnetic Fields! It seems you haven't heard their song 'I don't believe you' from the album 'i'. It's my favorite by them, check it out :) Also, impressive 'seen live' collection.

They might or may not. Buying the vinyl anyway?

I mostly only knew that they had 2 singles from The Suburbs. I was listening to a crappy rip which is why I might have thought a bit weridly on first listen then.

I know but their label will likely force a short poppy single for alt radio.

Spiderland is one of my favorite albums, so you've definitely convinced me to check out I See Seaweed. You should listen to D-Plan's "Change" in its entirety. I think it's almost as good as E&I, though not quite. It's more laidback and refreshing with great philosophical lyrics. Milo makes amazing hip hop if you like nerdy references to philosophy, video games, movies, literature, etc. He has a hilarious sense of humor, too. Foxygen is reminiscent of The Velvet Underground and Bob Dylan- lots of folk/rock and psychedelic influences in their music, and they're incredible. Disclosure is THE BEST dance music I've ever heard. The new Baths album is great, but it's pretty different from Cerulean. It's more accessible- no instrumental tracks. Less glitchy beats and more atmosphere. Some songs are a little poppy, too, but I think they're all catchy and cohesive.

Because he is indie and wouldn't send his songs to radio.

I forgot two VERY important favorites of mine: Disclosure - Settle (best dance album of the year) and Baths - Obsidian.

I sounded like he changed his song writing when I listen to it and make electronic music like postal service or pheonix to gain fame.

I've been meaning to listen to the new The World is a Beautiful Place... album, actually. I guess I'll have to get on that! I love Trouble Will Find Me and Modern Vampires! I've enjoyed the entire National discography for a while, but I kind of got tired of Vampire Weekend and this new album rejuvenated my love for them. Wakin on a Pretty Daze is definitely one of my favorites as well! I haven't heard I See Seaweed. What's it like? I'm pretty excited for the new Arcade Fire, especially since Bowie is contributing vocals on one track. I'm REALLY excited for the new Dismemberment Plan album! I have so many favorites from this year, so I'm just going to name a few (not including the ones you mentioned that are also favorties of mine): The Knife - Shaking the Habitual, Milo - Things That Happen at Day/Things That Happen at Night (amazing nerdy/philosophical hip hop), Buke and Gase - General Dome, Foxygen - We are the 21st Century Ambassadors of Peace and Magic, and the new MBV.

I always found give up rather weak. It would be but they likely won't come back until 2023 now.
