Über mich
I started piano lessons when I was 5 years old. I later found my Dad`s Gibson "Charlie Christian" model in a closet when I was 7 and began to go crazy...
I formed a Rock band at the age of 12. We named it the "Warlords". Bill Bell and I were the liead guitars with Dick McDonald on the bass guitar and Rick Wilcox on drums. 1965 the "Warlords" won the Flint Battle of the Bands and went on to win the Michigan State Battle of the Bands.
The Band continued to play around the mid-Michigan area until 1970 pleasing thousands of Michiganders during the time with original songs as well as songs from our favorite bands like: C.C.R., Stepin Wolf, Bob Seger and the last herd, Dick Wagner and the Frost, Ted Nugent and the Amboy Dukes, Mitch Ryder and the Detroit Wheels, The Doors, Jimi Hendrix, Cream, and a host of others...
In the 70`s I enlisted in the United States Marine Corps active duty (Vietnam Era) 6 years. Worked 30 years for General Motors and Delphi Automotive Systems East Flint. Retired in 2001 and am currently forming a Heavy Metal Country fusion Band for my Serenity. Rock on!...
