That G-Funk shit kinda fell off around early 2000. or maybe because i wasn't really heavy with the whole west coast LA movement. I never really gave DPG or mack 10 and WC a listen tbh. The Team East Peezy tape does in fact remind me of early 2000, late 90s bay area gangsta rap sound just by hearing the prodution. it's a cool tape. "Hold On" was my fav song off that tape.

NY fell off after Max got locked up & The Diplomats broke up. There hasn't been a real consistent father figure that everyone can look up to and point to. The A$AP MOB is pretty much the only thing out right now. maybe even Jay-Z but i don't fuck with any of that either. (even though i did enjoy Rocky's 1st mixtape 3 years ago.) I'm going to recollect Jeezy's material. did he change his name to just "Jeezy" btw?

man, i forgot about jeezy dude. he was one my fav trap rappers back in my middle school days. i would download all his songs using that program, limewire and put them all on my classic ipod. trap or die & can't ban the snowman to me were street classics. and his 1st album her ever put out was tite too. last song i heard jeezy on was "jose got dem tacos" and coincidentally, it's produced by drumma boy. lulz. what type of rap don't you listen to? haha, you got a couple of bay area plays too

squeeky is a lgnd in the memphis movement. i like the song "grew up" from high class street music 3. drumma boy might be one of my fav trap producers on the scene. he rarely lets me down. come to think of it, i never checked out any of his official compliation mixtape releases.

i liked bibby's tape more than herbs tape. but i think both mixtapes were solid releases. well, releases that definitely boosted their buzz. yeah, dolph need to drop that tape. i barely gave blue magic a listen yesterday and it's aight.

i don't keep up with gbe camp like i used to. after those hidous chief keef tapes, i lost hope for the whole gbe camp and went on search for more chi music somewhere else. lucky for me, i have a friend who lives in chi and she knows many artists and she introcued me into a couple of others as well. she introduced me into bibby, herb, p. rico, lil mister, lil jay etc. speaking of drillin, Give P. Rico's tape, Welcome to Puerto Rico a listen. it was seriously my fave mixtape last year right before da mafia 6ix tape. shit had ruthless sound and all those co-signs and ad-libs were tite. i don't have much memphis stuff but it would have to be three 6 mafia's underground vol 3; king of memphis tape. from ridin music, to smokin music. some of them paul & juicy beatz are fuckin insanely gud. like powder. "coke got me addicted nigga pass the blow".

that how can i not song is gr8 dude. thx. metro came through wit that beat and not to mention future's flow too. i despised young thug because of his unbearable voice on some songs. it took me around a week to get used to his voice. also, the fact that the rumor or whatever it was surfaced the web of him being gay or bi whatever, kinda stirred him up in a little bit of trouble. some niggas can't fuck or bump that dude with that type of image appearing within his sound. idc if artists are gay or whateva, i'm all about the music. i agree with you on scooter. idk, street lottery 2 tight but it doesn't even come close to the 1st street lottery. there isn't much street anthems on it besides maybe the new version of street lottery or my boys. Keef did fall off. I heard somewhere all his last previous mixtapes he was under the influence of lean & that was the reason he didn't do well.
