OK, so, I went to France, had a damned awesome week, enjoyed a temperature of 35 degrees celcius below freaking zero, had centimeter long icycles on my eyelashes and thus, listened to all the songs mentioned in my earlier journal http://www.last.fm/user/Angry_B8/journal/2005/12/21/47044/
However, I found some things were a slight bit annoying, and a few things missing, so, here's the revision, for you who are still going to snowboard this winter.
One of the primary irritations was that a few songs had long silences in it, or in Evanescence's case, a couple of minutes of rain, which is something you really don't want to hear when you're flying like an angel to the sun, as Sandra Nasic of the Guano Apes so aptly puts it.
So, Eternal was the first to go. Also, I thought the slow start in Where did you sleep last night wouldn't bother me, but sadly, it did, so that one had to go too.
Now, two bands I totally forgot about, and really missed up there, were Bad Religion and Chumbawumba, so I'd add at least Tubthumping and A Walk, but what I did was just one day fill my mp3-player with all their songs and seriously enjoyed it. If you got some spare room, Mary Mary is a must too.
Then finally I got to get back to No Fun At All, in my opinion they're the best in adrenaline pumping music, go with them. I boarded two days on just them, and it was awesome :)
OK, exams coming up, so next one will be "Songs to chill by", "Songs to study by", or "Songs to party by" depending on how my exams go ^_^
Watch for them and have fun!
