[1.] How did you get into 29?
Jack Johnson
I'm sure, like everyone else, I heard Flake on the radio.

[2.] What was the first song you ever heard by 22?
David Bowie
Couldn't 22 have been easier? I'm assuming it was something from Labyrinth that made me love him. I seemed to be the only one growing up who had heard of that movie. Suddenly I'm an adult and everyone knows it. Odd.

[3.] What’s your favorite lyric by 33?
Two 33s: Alison Krauss & Union Station & Counting Crows
The smile on your face lets me know that you need me
There's a truth in your eyes sayin' you'll never leave me
The touch of your hand says you'll catch me if ever I fall
You say it best when you say nothing at all
When You Say Nothing At All

I will paint my picture
Paint myself in blue and red and black and gray
All of the beautiful colors are very very meaningful
Grey is my favorite color
I felt so symbolic yesterday
If I knew Picasso
I would buy myself a gray guitar and play
Mr. Jones
(I actually prefer Big Yellow Taxi , but it's a cover so I don't count it.)

[4.] What is your favorite album by 49?
Hoobastank
Quite frankly, I'm confused as to how they're that high. I believe I owned both Hoobastank and The Reason. Don't think I ever listened much to the latter. Ah, yes, it was the track Crawling in the Dark

[5.] How many albums by 13 do you own?
Marcy Playground
One. This is a sore point. I miss this band. One of the best live shows I've ever seen.

[6.] What is your favorite song by 50?
Kevin Sharp
Tossup between Nobody Knows and Population 4000 Minus 1. The first is the one that everyone knows by him. The second is written about my hometown. Actually, I like most of that album.

[7.] Is there a song by 39 that makes you sad?
Tracy Lawrence
Most of his stuff makes me think. Time Marches On probably provokes emotion the most.

[8.] What is your favorite album by 15?
Everclear
So Much for the Afterglow by far. I can listen to every track but one over and over and over again.

All of the above. Right now we'll go with Standing Outside the Fire .

[10.] Is there a song by 6 that makes you happy?
Maroon 5

Adema
The Way You Like It

Nine Inch Nails
Trent Reznor without comment.

[20.] Have you ever seen 14 live?
Tennis Pro
No, and I'm a little bitter about it having lived so damn close to Seattle. Now that I'm back near Portland, hope has been restored.

[21.] What is a good memory involving 27?
System of a Down
It's not necessarily "good" but I do have a memory that directly involves Chop Suey!. I was driving to work one morning listening to the radio station I always did with the annoying morning DJs. They mention something about a plane and a building and then play Chop Suey!. A commercial comes on afterward and I start flipping radio stations. Everyone is talking about planes. The date was September 11, 2001.

I thought the morning DJs on my usual station were just playing a joke. The lyrics "I cry when angels deserve to die" have struck me ever since.

[22.] What is your favorite song by 16?
Nirvana
The Man Who Sold the World and Lake Of Fire, but they're both covers. Defaults to Smells Like Teen Spirit.

[23.] What is the first song you ever heard by 47?
No 47, so we'll go with all the 46s:
12 Stones
Must be Crash, the first track on the album 12 Stones because I bought it after hearing the lead singer on Bring Me to Life. (Get it?)

Johnny Cash
Oh hell if I know. I grew up listening to this crap. The one that made me sit up and take notice again was Hurt one day while flipping past CMT.

Our Lady Peace
Finally an easy one: Clumsy.

[24.] What is your favorite album by 18?
Coal Chamber
Chamber Music

(holy crap, I'm only halfway???)

[25.] What is your favorite song by 21?
R.E.M.
Losing My Religion

[26.] What is the first song you ever heard by 26?
Good Charlotte
Little Things. I saw the music video on MTV or MuchMusic before I ever heard them on the radio. I own Good Charlotte with the original cover. Fads ruin everything.

[27.] What is your favorite album by 3?
Paul Simon
If I had The Paul Simon Collection: On My Way, Don't Know Where I'm Goin' on tape, I would have replaced it at least a dozen times I've listened to it so much.

[28.] What is your favorite song by 2?
The Presidents of the United States of America
Don't make me choose! Hmm... Love Everybody

[33.] What is your favorite album by 12?
Alan Jackson
The Greatest Hits Collection
I apparently listen to a lot of compilation CDs.

Matchbox Twenty
I adored Yourself or Someone Like You to the point where I bought it twice when it went missing. I haven't been moved by anything they've done since.

[35.] What was the first song you ever heard by 34?
No 34. 35 is TLC.
I assume I heard Waterfalls first.

[36.] What is your favorite album by 48?

[38.] What is your favorite song by 36?
Alanis Morissette
Hands Clean

Travis Tritt
Tell Me I Was Dreaming

[39.] What was the first song you ever heard by 28?
No 28. 27s: System of a Down
That I associated with "this is System of a Down" was Chop Suey!

Stone Temple Pilots
Hell if I know. I wasn't into this music when they were big so I heard it all when I started listening to this sort of music. If that makes sense.

[40.] What is your favorite album by 7?
Richard Cheese
Most songs I listen to seem to be off Tuxicity. I don't listen to him by album.

No 30. 31 is Ben Folds Five
Song for the Dumped and Battle of Who Could Care Less make me smile.

[42.] What is your favorite album by 41?
No 41. One 40 and both 42s only ever put out one hit album each (and I owned all 3) and I talked about the other 40 already, so I'm not bothering with this question.

Using 1 of the 23s:
Green Day
Probably Redundant.

[44.] What is a good memory you have involving 46?
Do people really have memories involving music? Besides my ex-husband? I really don't. The System of a Down memory mentioned previously was a fluke that took thousands of people dying.

[45.] What is your favorite song by 35?
TLC
I'll always stop flipping radio stations for Unpretty. Always.

[46.] Is there a song by 9 that makes you happy?
Toby Keith
Should've Been A Cowboy, among many others. This is happy music.

[47.] What is your favorite album by 4?
Godsmack
Godsmack. Easily.

[48.] Who is a favorite member of 37?
There is no 37. Just like the spoon.

[49.] What is the first song you ever heard by 43?
I haven't mentioned Cherry Poppin' Daddies at 42.
Zoot Suit Riot, just like everybody else.

[50.] How many albums do you own by 20?
Crosby, Stills & Nash
One, but Last.fm counts it as two. Carry On (disc 1) & Carry On (disc 2). I bought it when I ended up with CSN tickets and realized I wasn't sure what they sang.

God damn, that took forever and ended up being not that interesting to me.
