    A: thanks for wonderful note and quote…my past work has been geometric or lyrical abstraction…but about 2 years ago began work on a mixed media series: “jigsaw immigration”…based on cultural adaptation of immigrants to america…recently my artistic energy is spent producing cacophonies via saxophone…however, i plan additional work for the series this summer…yes koonig sits in the pantheon of abstract art and I dig him…as a matter of fact…presently digging the abstract and mixed media work of koonig disciple…jim hudek…who’s inspired by jazz…! p&b, J

    no...not an artist by profession...although i have exhibited...mostly abstracts in acrylic...i would say my work falls somewhere between frustrated artist and exalted working as fundraiser for non-profits...and as i am often in a position to know programmatic details resulting from my efforts...i find my work quite satisfying...

    btw...i love your new totally abstract...i liked the last one too...the one that didn't live very geometric with the word jazz hidden somewhere inside...both very artistic...and from the drum themes...i'm guessing you're a drummer...?

    Hi Aleealski...thanks for your nice know every jazz musician has his own style of you continue to listen you'll begin to "hear" who's playing...and you'll get to know who played with who on what album, etc...i'm still learning myself...and often have to check sources to be sure...but each time i listen i can "hear" more...glad you're enjoying the jazz...peace, Jazzy
