Biografie

War From A Harlots Mouth sind eine 5-köpfige Band aus Berlin, Deutschland.
Sie machen eine Mischung aus Grindcore, Hardcore, Death Metal und Jazz, woraus ein spezifischer Sound mit hohem Wiedererkennungswert entsteht.
Eigenen Angaben zufolge wollen sie in keine Musiksparte gepresst werden sondern einfach nur Musik machen.

Bereits vor ihrem Debut-Album Transmetropolitan, welches bei Lifeforce Records erschien, entstand die Falling Upstairs-EP, eine 4-Way Split mit The Anti-Doctrine, Starring Janet Leigh und Closed Casket Funeral, sowie Split-CDs mit Molotov Solution und Dead Flesh Fashion.

Am 24. April 2009 brachten WFAHM ihr neues Album „In Shoals“ heraus, dass einen etwas anderen Stil als die Debut-Platte hat.
Am auffälligsten war jedoch der neue Sänger Nico, der vielen bekannt ist von The Ocean.
Darüber hinaus haben sie sich nicht nur in Deutschland einen Namen gemacht sondern auch über die Grenzen hinaus so haben sie schon einige erfolgreiche Tourneen in Amerika absolviert.

    Dachte eigentlich, dass die goldenen Zeiten nach Transmetropolitan vorbei wären, aber mit Voyeur haben die echt ein dickes Album gemacht. Das zwischendrin, außer das Split mit Burning Skies, kann man so richtig in die Tonne klopfen.

    I will be the first to admit, I don't normally go for stuff like this... but Voyeur is surprising the shit out of me. The Deathspell Omega and Portal influence is obvious, yet there is some Gaza to it too. The vocalist sucks, but musically and production wise this is good shit.

    Voyeur ist zwar sehr schön, aber irgendwie haben mir Transmetropolitan, In Shoals und MMX viel besser gefallen, mit diesen richtig schön ruhigen und Jazzigen Parts. Obwohl ich gar kein Jazz höre, das ist das paradoxe daran.

    every cd is different and every cd is great. for ppl that arent real into voyeur, you can probably expect a bit of a style change on their next release like theyve done on everything else. im excited to see whats next for them

    after switching to 8 string guitars a lot of their stuff sounds the same. Its very hard to get off that Meshuggah-sound when playing 8 strings in metal. Animals as Leaders might be an exception here... Transmetropolitan is still the best!

    After hearing voyeur a few times i got tired. I miss the jazz parts [3]. They sound like Gaza/IonDissonance and Meshuggah. They loose their originality, for me personally.
