This is a folk metal / doom metal band from Curicó, Chile, South America. Their sound compasses pan flutes, melodic acoustic guitars, deep growls and screams, but also gets quite heavy sometimes by using distorted guitars and fast drum beats, never losing its calm, mellow character.
The band was formed in 1996. They are currently signed to Octagon Music Group. Band members are Aciago (instruments) and Caudal (vocals).
So far the band has released one EP and two full-lenth albums, „Lamentos a Poema Muerto“ being their latest effort (2007).
Description of their sound:
A mix of jungle noises, rain, pan flute and loud indian-like screams, influenced by evolutionary factors such as mimicing wild animals. The goal of this music is to summon rain or scare away wild pumas, but also to embrace the whole world in a state of rainforest mentality. Really crazy music, but also seriously worth a listen!!!
