Biografie
Musikalische Geschichte.
Geboren wurde Tod am 29. Juni 1965 in Pennsylvania.Mit 12 Jahren begann er, Trompete und Piano zu spielen und war während seiner Zeit an der High School Mitglied einer Blaskapelle. Zu Weihnachten 1978 bekam er von seinen Eltern die erste Gitarre geschenkt.
Nach seinem Abschluss zog er nach New Jersey. Er hat in einigen Bands mitgespielt bis er Edsel Dope traf.
1997 ging zusammen mit Edsel nach New York und wurde Bassist in Edsel´s Band Dope.
Im Jahr 2000 spielte er bei „The Rejects“ und verließ darauf hin Dope. Die Band nannte sich später in Murderdolls um. Zeitgleich verlies Koichi Fukuda die Band Static-X. Im Jahr 2001 ersetze Tripp sein Platz an der Gitarre und beendete das Album „Machine“.Er beteiligte sich am Songwriting für das Album „Shadow Zone“.
Am 24. Februar 2005 wurde Tripp auf einem Parkplatz festgenommen wegen Verdacht auf Missbrauch einer Minderjährigen.Er erhielt eine Haftstrafe von 1 Jahr aus der er am 7. Oktober vorzeitig enstlassen wurde. Im selben Jahr trennte sich Static-X von Tripp Eisen.

@Marquip That's WHY he went to JAIL initially, jesus christ. If she was OVERAGE he wouldn't have... do you see how that works? He played 1-finger chords, looked like a freak and fucked little kids, I know Edsel is probably ashamed to even have had him in his band or play on one of his records...

Here is more from after his release...---Former STATIC-X and DOPE guitarist TRIPP EISEN has been sent back to jail after reportedly violating his parole conditions. The rocker was released from a California state prison in April 2007 after serving time for allegedly meeting and sexually assaulting a 14-year-old girl in 2005. But Eisen is now back behind bars after an unknown parole violation and is not scheduled to be released until 19 October 2009.---still trying to figure out whats been happening the last 2 years...

wikipedia had it--In 2005 Eisen was arrested for the kidnapping and sexual assault of a 14-year-old girl. He pled guilty to charges of statutory rape and was sentenced to one year in jail.--My guess is that he has been keeping a low profile ever since, because statutory rape of a minor isnt really a marketable skill...

Edsel never even got along with this guy. He was essentially a hired-gun to play his songs... anyone defending his actions is obviously a complete idiot. He posed on the internet as someone he wasn't and knew the girl was underage. Dude's a freak-show, and no he was nothing ever then a marginal guitarist.

My favorite guitarist.He's my idol, and he's NOT a rapist! I worship this guy on guitar, in Dope he had done an AWESOME work, also not to mention that he had written almost everything in the Static-X's strongest album "Shadow Zone" and he was one of the founders ot Murderdolls :) His guitar work is very admiring, and I think it has nothing to do with his personal life.

but don't forget there do exist 14-year old even looking like 18 year old girls. maybe he went wrong too? at least its for sure that he will never really live his dream and perform on stage. thats something he really messed up with that. so i actually (if the girl is fine) could really feel sorry for him. but the only thing i wanted to say is: that people like you down ther AND me, have no idea what happened. so don't tell him a rapist the easy way out. i hope the medieval-brains will become extinct someday and that the "burning of witches"-ideas, this dead body of thoughts, will end up someday.. thinks before typing and inform yourself like i did not do enough too. greetz from germany

may it be that even the justice thought that he is no rapist? at least i think he should've been arrested. like he got. because 14-years is too young. every one who has sexual relationships to people who DON'T WANT TO and CAN NOT DEFEND THEMSELVES are rapists, and people who are having sexual relationships to innocent children are rapists - of course - too. she has been too young for a 40-year-old-man. to not arrest a person like him could be a bad example. lets say if she had been 16, and she wanted to, and still says she wants too, even if he would have been 50 years old. i would be fine with that. let them be. ever heard about harold and maude? disgusting film/book to me - really. but if they (only artists and characters of a novella) want to - let them be. My gut feeling tells me that 14 and 40 does not go well usually, but maybe it got here? like i said: if SHE is ok - let them be. even if this girl better should not be my daughter^^
