As everyone else below has said... Underrated. Can play any style of music convincingly and passionately. Fully believe he's the best bassist around. Looking forward to the Melvins Lite featuring Trevor Dunn on double bass... Should be interesting.
Trevor Dunn is my favorite bassist and he seems to really want each project to have a voice that is different. I look forward to get the chance to meet him and have a lesson if I get out to New York. Has anyone checked out his Broken Arm Trio?
I will always regard Trevor Dunn as one of the greatest electric bassists in music today. I hate when people claim Flea is the greatest bassist, and not just because I'm a Bungle fan. His style was relevant in the late 80s but he's still doing all the same shit. Early Mr. Bungle, John Zorn, and MadLove (to name a few) are all completely distinct from one another. Combine an eclectic repertoire with sheer talent and you have a guy like Trevor Dunn. Bravo sir.
