Everyone will eventually die (yes, even the greatest sound guys) and that's the way it should be but Travis has 2 girls that need him alive and working. There's more to life than fucking crystal. His daughters feel shame and pain unknown to us. But of course - easier said than done. We can only hope for a happy end for this family. My thoughts are with him in these days of trial.
Travis relapsed. My band was suppose to open on the second night of a 2 night show in Grants Pass Oregon. He showed up late and high as hell on meth and was a total asshole. He told the sound man (who is a great sound guy) that he sucks and that he hopes he fucking dies. Total shame. He is a super talented song-writer that just couldn't kick the drugs.
a true artist. introverted, subdued, self-loathing, self abuse. life is short, brutal and depressing. the angst and honesty revealed in Meeks music is on level with the best of any artist.
way talented, yet crushed under waters weight.
I always wonder about him after seeing him on Intervention. I don't know if he's cleaned his act up or not, but it's really too bad. He was a talented musician, and probably still is. But he blew it at the wrong time and regardless of talent, I think he missed the boat. Days of the New was a great band, but unfortunately everyone moved on and the music industry isn't the same as it was when they were popular, so I'm thinking that he probably won't ever really "make it" again. Sad story. I hope he's doing alright.
