Thomas Rotter displays his soulful versatility as an instrumentalist and as a composer on this debut album „Traumzeit“. It features 10 beautiful original compositions by Thomas, and the tunes seem to have special qualities: two songs from album, „Rainsong“ and „No way out“, were several weeks among the „Top Ten Jazz compositions“ on the composers platform „sibeliusmusic“ in 2000.
The just released CD includes some special guests from Brazil: one of the most busy brazilian drummers; André „Limao“ Queiroz from Belo Horizonte, who worked with top musicians like Toninho Horta or Maria Schneider, and, last but not least, Cléber Alves on tenor-and sopranosaxes. Cléber is also from Belo Horizonte and gained some special reputation for his 2006 released album „Revinda“ which was choosen as the „best instrumental album“ from Minas Gerais.
