Biografie

Die Band The Sessions ist eine kanadische Band, die 2006 den weltgrößten Musikgruppen-Wettbewerb, das Emergenza, gewann. 2006 traten 7.631 Bands aus 16 Ländern gegeneinander an. The Sessions gewann den ersten Platz im Finale in Rothenburg in Deutschland.
Die Band nahm das Album „The Sessions Is Listed As In A Relationship“ mit dem weltbekannten Produzent Bob Rock auf. Zwei Lieder aus dem Album, „My Love“ und „18 Candles“, wurden für den Mountainbike-Film Seasons von The Collective verwendet. Das Abum ist auf iTunes erhältlich. The Sessions tourte im Februar 2008 im Westen der Vereinigten Staaten.

Mitglieder sind Martin Robert Kottmeier (geboren am 16. Februar 1987), er singt und spielt Schlagzeug. Tristan Norton singt ebenfall und spielt Gitarre und Keyoard.
Joshua Helgason war Sänger und Synthesizer, verließ aber im März 2008 die Band und arbeite später mit Stars of Boulevard zusammen.

    wow i'm shocked! the last few times i've been listening to these guys no one knew who they were....they weren't even listed on last fm! wow well way to go guys! I can see you guys becoming really big...its weird how I saw you guys for free in richmond like 2 years ago, wow how time flies.

    Did you guys break up or did you not? I read that you broke up in May 2008 but this page says that you still have shows you're playing. Please tell me you guys are still together. I see you being as big as The Bravery or The Killers, and I can't stop listening to your last album.
