    I really like this track - I used to force people to listen to it at Uni :) It seems to take inspiration from a poem about the war. I think the poem was called 'Dulce et Decorum', that in turn is taken from the famous latin phrase "It is sweet and noble to die for ones country". So I guess the title of the song is supposed to be read as something like "In Sweet Nobility" (presumably in an ironic sense).

    Yes, I remember dining at my aunt's place, Miami Vice was playing... Then this song started, it was while some cops were working on something to stop criminals... No voice por 3 or 4 mn, just this stupid cops & the Damned. Strange. BTW, great great song, even though I almost nearly never listen to this record anymore, I prefer their earlier stuff!
