This guys Voice is greatly missed by many who truly appreciated his vocal talents, along with the German Band YELLO who loved to have Billy MacKenzie sing for them.

Amen to that - a jaw-dropping, spine-tingling, awe-inspiring voice. Breakfast is a truly stunning piece of pop music - despite MacKenzie's usual nonsensical lyrics - one of those rare moments when pop outdoes itself and reaches almost operatic proportions.

Somewhere in my collection I have a live version of breakfast. As far as I am concerned Billy MacKenzie had the best voice ever to come out of Scotland. The power he could generate in his voice was unbelievable.
