I have the great pleasure of announcing that Svartsinn will perform in Spain for the very first time! Will be performing in the magnificent city of Barcelona on the 25th of February. And Svartsinn will share the stage with a few other very good artists, to be confirmed soon. The event will be organized by La Esencia and has been given the name "Drowned In Darkness". Due to circumstances beyond our control, I'm sorry to have to inform you that the Russian tour that was planned for the end of September is postponed. I will come back with new dates asap, but it seems all bets are on January at the moment. Stay tuned!

Also, I'm currently making some new music to be featured on a split LP with Northaunt. This will be a very conceptual release, both artists will take inspiration from the book called "The Road", written by Cormac McCarthy. This will be released by LOKI/PAS sometime in the not too distant future. Keep checking back for more news!

Hello all!

Just popping in to let you know that I will play live with my sideproject Wasteland Transmissions in July, this will take place at a small underground festival here in Norway called Støy På Landet. It features everything from electronica, noise, ambient, sound art, experimental and other non-categorizeable things! I will also get help from some friends on this performance, more info later.

There's also a talks of a Svartsinn tour in September, plus a few singe gigs here and there during the Autumn. Stay tuned for info!

Just added two songs from the remastered "Of Darkness And Re-Creation". "The Oblivious Faces" + "Tremors Within The Void" can now be found in the player. Hope you like them.

Updated general apperance on the site, added info about the re-release/remastered version of "Of Darkness And Re-Creation" in "Discography".  A new mp3 from this album will be added soon too!

Played a short gig on the 18th of February during the opening of Carl Abrahamsson's photo exhibition "Döden I Våra Hjärtan" (Death In Our Hearts)in Trondheim. He is a Swedish artist and his photo exhibition travels around and is currently in Trondheim until 6th of March. I recommend you to see it if it comes to a gallery near you!
