They say in this town, stars stay up all night Well, I dont know, can't see em for the glow of the neon lights An' it's a long way from here to the place where the home fires burn Well it's two thousand miles and one left turn
This song lyrics alone is a stunning poem. There's two lines where it's strike me every-time, both with the same sentence structure with total opposite in consequence. From desperate Hope "i'm so broke it's a'int funny" to all your hopes coming to fruition "I'm so rich that It ain't funny".
This is the song that started me listening to Sugarland. <3 I remember taking a shower and this song came on the radio and I was like MUST HAVE ALBUM...of course that was several months before their first album came out xD Needless to say I am glad for iTunes.
