    Been in love with Sol Invictus ever since I listened this song in a unkown dubbed generation tape back when people didn't had mobile phones nor a internet where people uses silliness like "ftw" to describe whatever that means because they're too lazy to type the full meaning. Needless to say but, the original is the best, but Black Metal new age rich kids won't find that until they grow up. Anyway, why come to this space just to say that you prefer other other version of a song? Who cares about you like or you prefer? Why do other people have to bear with your little egos? Unfortunately it's a common practice among troll kids, not only on youtube comment section but here as well..

    This track is very nostalgic from my viewpoint. Im along the folk who got freaked out by the Lex Talionis version after finding Sol Invictus through Agalloch. I think it took me a few years to relisten Sol Invictus after this shock. I still remember digging this album from my harddrive (maybe 2005) and thinking "this is the damn odd album Agalloch covered a song from, maybe i should give it a new listen, or just delete?" I did listen and while i wasn't yet particularly impressed (all this noise was too much for my ears at that time) I realized the potential and found out theres another version of Kneel to the cross on the album death of the west, which almost instantly blew me away. To be honest, I still think Kneel to the cross might be the worst track on Lex Talionis, but hell, Lex Talionis is a really impressive album.

    Oh damn, only just now did I learn of/ get to hear the version on 'Death of the West'. It's good, and so much better than on 'Lex Talionis'! For those of you who complain about Tony's singing, that too is better ;)
