" But Dark Souls 2...meeeh." Bullshit, Dark Souls 2's soundtrack is incredible. That said, I hope Kida composes for Dark Souls 3 or whatever other Souls game From Software develops in the future.

Don't want to offend Motoi Sukuraba, he did a great job for Dark Souls. But Dark Souls 2...meeeh.. Hope that Shunsuke Kida will make his back to DS siries one day

I wonder why they didn't release the character creation theme on the soundtrack. It's very ambient and calming.

Truly a spiritual soundtrack, especially the piece Maiden in Black which, after potentially hundreds of hours of listens throughout my adventures in Boletaria, remains as haunting and melancholy as the first time I laid ears on it.

At least in European Black Phantom Edition the track list is wrong. Also, the track that's titled Penetrator, I've heard only play in the first Vanguard battle. I wonder if it should be called Vanguard instead, since Penetrator has the same song as Tower Knight.

I love the game. I love Maiden Astrea. I do not like the rest of the soundtrack outside of the game.

v Because he's actually Japanese, so his name should technically be written however he writes it in Japan. If the Japanese version of a Britney Spears album writes her name as ブリトニー・スピアーズ, it is only so the Japanese can sound out the pronunciation; that doesn't mean it should be written that way. Names written in a language different than that of the person's country of origin are only written that way so that people who don't speak that language can read it.

One Who Craves Souls is about the best song on the soundtrack to simply listen to, alongside Maiden Astraea. While playing, then everything fits though (so far).
