Hof, Bavaria’s SENICIDE is a death metal band inspired by great artists like ‘The Black Dahlia Murder’, ‘Behemoth’, ‘Aborted’ and ‘Decapitated’. In 2012, the band’s offering you modern, groovy, brutal and technical death metal combined with fast black metal riffing by means of the new EP called ‘CTHONIAN AEONS’.
SENICIDE’s main target is to play and produce uncompromising, tough and sophisticated death metal. Wide-ranging influence from various genres define the senicidal sound as catchy with the certain something without neglecting crazy and technical riffing.
Formerly known as ‘Diary of Violent Days’ founded by Toby Wolfrum, the band released their first record in 2007, a seven-song EP named ‘EMPATHY’. Having seperated from drummer, bass player and guitarist, the band had to face musical reorientation. Finally, DOVD was renamed into SENICIDE followed by a long search for a suitable drummer. The current line up was eventually found in December 2010.
