Sarah Bettens (*1972) wurde als Frontfrau der belgischen Band „K’s Choice“ bekannt. Seit deren vorläufigen Auflösung 2003 arbeitet Sie wieder an ihrer Solokarriere und hatte u.a. Erfolg mit den Liedern „Not Insane“, „Stay“ und „Fine“.

Sarah Bettens (* 23. September 1972 in Kapellen) ist eine belgische Musikerin, die in den USA lebt. Sie bildete mit ihrem Bruder Gert Bettens die belgische Band K’s Choice und startete eine Solokarriere. Die erste K’s-Choice-CD hieß The Great Subconscious Club (die Band nannte sich damals noch The Choice) und das erfolgreichste Lied mit K’s Choice war Not an Addict. Ihre musikalischen Vorbilder sind die Indigo Girls und Shawn Colvin.

    I don't understand how a song which isn't on any of her albums is the most played... how do people even know this track exists? Apparently it was on a movie soundtrack, but how is it that more people saw the movie and bought the soundtrack than know about Sarah in other ways? Or was it just well-publicised in the US? The soundtrack isn't even available here. Same with Someone To Say Hi To... I only have that song from the K's Choice album but apparently Sarah sang it by herself on some soundtrack and everyone else has that version. I never realised movie soundtracks were such a powerful way of publicising music. Mind you, I don't listen to the radio so I'm more likely to discover a song from a movie soundtrack than from, say, a single. Still unlikely, though.
