Remains of the Day was a hardcore band from Portland, Oregon which incorporated a violin into their music. They played what some people might call a melodic crust, and others would simply call hardcore in general. The band is no longer together, but did release two full-length albums during their existence as a band. They also released a split with Keitzer where they released one song which was later released on their second album.
