Über dieses Album

Stadium Arcadium ist ein Studioalbum der Red Hot Chili Peppers. Es erschien am 5. Mai 2006 in Deutschland (8.

Jupiter's side sounds has a more serene and artistic atmosphere, in my opinion songs like "Wet Sand", "Stadium Arcadium" and "Snow ((Hey Oh))" are easily some of the best songs in their entire catalog, while on the Mars side, most of it feels rushed, and some songs have a "filler" feeling, if they'd just release them as separate albums and focus on the songs on Mars a little more that would have been better in my opinion. I don't know, it's just how I feel about it, it still kicks ass as a whole album!

I agree with El_Salvador7. It's easy to bash because some of the poppy themes, but overall it manages to create really beautiful and unique soundscapes.

As strange as it may sound I think this album is underrated. It's John's magnum opus as far as I'm concerned. And Chad, Flea and Anthony are at the top of their game as well.

I thought this would have so much filler because it's a double album, but I'm enjoying the hell out of this. In my opinion, it's their third best, after Blood Sugar Sex Magik and Californication.

I hate it when people equate success or popularity with mediocrity so thoughtlessly... [3] RHCP are one of those few bands where the most popular stuff is the best stuff, thanks in the most part to John (I don't care how many times this has been said, he made this band).

Will always be up there... but let's not forget "What Hits!?" and "Out In L.A." ;) seriously, though. Find yourself a copy of "Venus" the would-have-been third disc of b-sides from SA. You won't regret it.
