Ah, so it wasn't only me, this album does have clipping by default. You can try mp3gain and lower the volume a bit, but when it's "raw" sadly I don't think it's gonna improve much. Needs remastering as another guy said.

"iPod users SHALL BUUUUUUURN! Seriously, at least exchange your Apple earbuds to something worthy." You know headphones ?

"All of you, iPod users, you should go to hell and burn... You're not worth Steven's music." Apparently you never heard about lossless audio codecs.

Though great it's not the best PT album and even so the choruses are the best of any album.

I've been with Porcupine Tree since "Signify", and I really think "Deadwing" is their finest album. There my be moments on other albums that are better, but for my money, as a whole piece of cohesive work, "Deadwing" is it.

Like this one nearly as much as Blank Planet. Wilson = genius.

On another note: if there is anything "technically wrong" with them, then newsflash: every technological utility has its downfall. I believe that there are some technological devices out there that are rather "useless", in my honest opinion, but Ipods generally work, from what I can see. I have friends who use Ipods more than Zunes, and other than a few glitches, they are good for storing music (and streaming videos).

There's nothing wrong with Ipods. You listen to music on them; therefore, there's nothing wrong with them. How can there be "wrong" with something that steers your enjoyment if it is for a generally healthy cause?

I "loved" almost every song on this album. The musicality was very good.
