Pierce the Veil (früher: Before Today) ist eine Post-Hardcore Band aus San Diego.
Geschichte
Before Today gründeten sich im Herbst 1998 und hatten ihren ersten Durchbruch 2004, als Equal Vision Records ihr Debutalbum „A Celebration of an Ending“ herausbrachte. Im Herbst 2006 änderten die Brüder Vic and Mike Fuentes den Bandnamen von „Before Today“ zu „Pierce the Veil“. Am 26. Juni 2007 brachte die Band ihr zweites bzw erstes Album unter dem neuen Namen herraus „ A Flair For The Dramatic “.

Ugh, some of their songs are so good, and some are just abysmal. I wish Mikey would try to scream, he sounds like a little girl in wal-mart throwing a tantrum. Hope their next album is a little more coherent than "A Flair...", they could easily be one of the best post-hardcore bands.
