Biografie

Shouldn't be a problem to merge 'Paul McCartney & Wings' with 'Wings' - the two names were the same project, which for a period had the name prefixed with Paul's by the label for commercial reasons, which they subsequently dropped again. They were clearly the same band and it's ridiculous to dilute their charts this way. [6]

I guess it's fine if only "Red Rose Speedway" + "Band on the Run" are tagged as "Paul McCartney & Wings" while the rest of the Wings albums are tagged as just "Wings." It's weird, though - initially they released "Wild Life" as "Wings," then they went for the "Macca & Wings" for the two albums in 1973 and then back to "Wings" again...

"Having watched the first man walk on the moon from the black and white TV screen, it changed my perspective, it actually gave me the energy to focus in on things that were out of the box." - In 2015, Sarah Brightman will travel to the International Space Station, a dream that she has had since childhood, when mankind took its first steps on the moon. Brightman takes a closer look at her own relationship with the universe on her new album, Dreamchaser, through a few wistful originals and playful covers by Sigur Rós, Wings, Elbow and Cocteau Twins. Alongside her otherworldly plans, we ask the vivacious soprano how she spends a typical day on Planet Earth: http://www.songfacts.com/blog/interviews/sarah_brightman/
