Make sure you are listening to the real version of this album. Sharon Osbourne had the bass and drums re-recorded for the 2002 re-issue. The drums are buried in the mix and the bass tone and sound is all wrong. Believer sounds terrible, compared to the far superior original with Bob Daisley and Lee Kerslake. I couldn't believe it ha

This album is an untouchable heavy metal landmark. The arrangements, the guitar work, the lyrics, the vocals... it's perfect.

FAR superior to Blizzard. Over the Mountain is my all-time favorite Ozzy song and features one of the most blistering Randy Rhoads solos, S.A.T.O. is incredibly underrated, and the title track is just plain dark and epic. Not a bad track to be found on this one, unlike its predecessor. I can only imagine what Ozzy and Randy would have done next and how incredible it surely would have been...

Best Ozzy album, way better than Blizzard of Ozz, Diary of a Maman has Rhoads at his best, way better than Crazy Train.
