A bit late but I finally have a list I'm satisfied with. As with my songs list I go by what albums I enjoy and nothing more. I generally find concepts of influence and importance to be overrated and overly relative to too many things to be taken into consideration. I try and comment as much as I can on each one and usually post a lyric I like or that encapsulates the album somehow.

The Love Below is a somewhat experimental mix of soul, rock, rap, and pop. Speakerboxx is a classic OutKast album of wonderfully produced rap. Together they make a hell of an album. Outside of great pop tracks Hey Ya! and Roses, and some nice soul inspired pieces I think I prefer Speakerboxx. Bust, Ghetto Musick, and Church are all classic OutKast tracks with good MC's and…

“Bow to the masters of fashion…”. Teddy Riley, Aaron & Damion Hall return for their 1990 sophomore effort, The Future. With Teddy on production duties, and with slow jams such as “Let’s Chill”, “Smile”, and “Tease Me Tonite”, and with fast songs such as “Teddy’s Jam 2”, “Gotta Be A Leader“ (the song of which the opening statement of this paragraph comes from), and “Let’s Stay Together”, this album is my all-time favorite, an essential for fans of New jack swing.
