MY OUTSET stands for straight melodic rock music with influences from pop and punk. It is organized around drummer Matze Janisch and bass player Stephan Kling and in combination with wide e-guitars it plays wonderful, often bivocal melodies - catchy stuff with the two singers and guitar players Steffen Hepner und Stev Chau-Huu singing about life, hope and love.
By including a piano the whole musical range comes into play and the highly varied songwriting is raised to new heights.

The band was launched in 2006 under the name “2rectify”, but the four musicians had already gained lots of experience in different bands, orchestras, big bands and musicals, so they look back to the published EP “Straight Up“ and many live gigs at home and abroad.

Having worked for more than ten months, the band is back:
MY OUTSET invites you to have a party with their new material, new band name and a new live show - and there is only one direction: forward!
