Firstly, some of this info IS wrong. Since it's so many bands, and the dates may change etc., I can't keep track of them all.
TBA means to be announced.
Some of the albums on WILL RELEASE may be working titles, which means that the band may change it. That counts for the release dates too.

Power Radio

Power metal is today associated with an epic sound tempered by characteristics of speed metal, power metal's musical forerunner. Power metal's lyrical themes, though as varied as metal itself, typically focus on fantasy and mythology (eg. , Rhapsody of Fire, Blind Guardian, Falconer , Domine, camaraderie and hope (eg. När shuffeln är aktiverad och en gammal god power metal låt dyker upp blir man alltid lika glad.

Det var med power metal jag började vidga mina musikvyer. Det kanske låter lite konstigt, men före jag började lyssna på band som Helloween, Blind Guardian och Gamma Ray var jag helt insnöad på Iron Maiden och Metallica.
Jag lyssnade inte på några andra band. Det var ju inte så stort hopp att börja lyssna på typ Helloween osv. Men jag vågade lyssna på andra band, vilket i sig är ett stort steg...
Nu är det så med power metal att allt låter jävligt lika... men jag blir glad när en gammal klassiker dyker upp... man drömmer sig tillbaka... :)

Nu har min musiksmak vidgat sig rätt mycket efter power metal-tiden, men den sortens musik kommer alltid att finnas kvar hos mig. Jag kommer alltid att bli glad av att höra en gammal goding som tex. Stratovarius - Paradise eller Helloween - I Want Out. Det är jävligt bra låtar, det kommer jag alltid att tycka och jag kommer alltid att gilla band som Helloween…
