@MisterJunior You might also try to use AlbumArtistSort, ArtistSort or even Composer (I use the last one to group all works by some artist).

I use The Miles Davis Quintet/Miles Davis Quintet in the Album Artist field for recordings credited as such and Miles Davis in the Artist field. The album plays scrobble under Miles Davis Quintet while the actual plays scrobble to Miles Davis, which is how I like it. I do the same with Bill Evans Trio/Bill Evans, The John Coltrane Quartet/John Coltrane, etc. I prefer to have things strictly (some might say pedantically) categorized like that, but many others put Miles Davis Quintet in the Artist field, which I have no problem with. Not sure why it's an issue since no one is forcing you to scrobble them in a way you don't like.

2009 marks the 50th Anniversary of the original release date of Miles Davis’ Kind Of Blue. Legendary jazz drummer, Jimmy Cobb (the only surviving member from the original recording) leads a contemporary all-star band featuring Wallace Roney (trumpet), Javon Jackson (tenor saxophone), Vincent Herring (alto saxophone), Larry Willis (piano), and Buster Williams (bass.) The group will perform their interpretations of Kind of Blue’s five masterpieces: “So What”, “Freddie Freeloader”, “Blue In Green”, “All Blues”, and “Flamenco Sketches” plus other classics by Davis, John Coltrane, Julian “Cannonball” Adderley, and original compositions inspired by this era.
