TheNethero @Metality: Secret Treaties is a gapless album, so there's a reason it doesn't countdown into the intro. Having heard the original first, I prefer hearing the soft piano and clean vocals in BOC's version. Metallica, of course, does the heavier part much better than BOC who made it sound very wimpy from the first time I heard it.

Metality Great cover, indeed. Having heard this version before the original, I feel the original's intro lacks something... the song's not quite the same without that drum beat that starts after "come Suzie dear". The outro here, however, is nowhere near as good as in the original. A hit and miss, I suppose.

leviramsey @inuyasha16: Blue Oyster Cult is one of the best bands ever. Secret Treaties (the album that the original is from (though BOC re-did it with a lot more synths in the 80s)) is a masterpiece of an album.
