The version of Blockbuster on here is fantastic, and even if it is a little hit and miss, most of the album is pretty great. Ramblin' Man is another highlight, and a really pleasant surprise. "I assume the pairing of the 70's pop singer and the teen rebellion anthem was supposed to be ironic" [2]. Not to say they didn't genuinely want to do the song, but it would be very Melvins to include a track simply as an ironic joke.

I think it's great! The Yow tracks especially. Well, minus the Foetus track, I am really unimpressed by that one.

Seriously, what the heck? Even out of the trilogy context (although you shouldn't really take it out of such) it's a great album. If you don't like it because it didn't match your expectations, you just don't get the Melvins. 'Cause with them you should never really set any expectations.

I love a lot of the songs from this album. Good closer for the trilogy imo.

Strangely this was the first Melvins album I bought. Not a great introduction. It's not exactly very coherent as a whole. I don't listen to the whole album much. Ramblin' Man, GI Joe, Mine Is No Disgrace, Spineless and Divorced are all great tracks though. There are at least 10 Melvins albums that are better than this... It's not bad, It's just not what I'm gonna pick when I feel like listening to the Melvins. Bootlicker & Maggot are amazing though.

This album has some neat highlights, but as a whole I wouldn't say it's that strong.

The "Smells Like Teen Spirit" cover is an amusing idea but not really anything I'd really want to listen to often. Otherwise this album is pretty cool; I really like "Spineless", "Divorced", "GI Joe" and both of the David Yow tracks.
