    This takes me right back to when I was about 7 or 8 years of age. My father used to play this in his car as we headed off for holiday to the south of France... Happy days indeed.

    This man had no shame about his song choice. As a result he momentarily became the musical voice of 60s counter-culture, then master of South American crooning. If only it were true that he was Julio Iglesias' father. All the documentaries you see on him play up his London east-end background, so he shares that X-factor winners' ID tag which marks him out as 'haltingly, contingently, fortunately' successful.
