After catching the drum and bass vibe in 2004, his love for the music quickly led him to production, which at that point was nothing more than a hobby. Hard to believe that as his skills rapidly evolved over such a short period that DJ’s like Subsonik, Crissy Criss and Future Prophecies began playing and supporting his music.
Another key factor in Krooked’s early success lies in meeting fellow Austrian producer/DJ Camo, whom he met in 2007. It took them only a short while to gel, and their first offering ‘Play It’ was soon released on the German imprint Basswerk Records. Despite this prolific collaboration, Krooked has been a busy boy also working alongside Future Prophecies, Donnie Dubson and Rob STP, creating utter dancefloor destruction along the way.
The future looks bright for this young producer, watch out for Tunes on Berzerk, Dirty Habit, Nasca, Timeless and Sudden Def, to name just a few, and also future club and festival appearances planned across Europe this year.
