! there are two HC-Bands named KINGDOM !
1) SXE Hardcore from Phili
We are a vegan and straight edge band. Our songs are about things you’re probably familiar with- urban poverty, the soullessness of consumerism, the exploitation of animals, the subjugation of women, corrupt and racist cops (ACAB!), the constant struggle to remove ourselves from these things, and remove these things from the world. Hardcore bands have been talking about this stuff since the 80’s, and over 20 years later all these ideas are still (if not more) important. So while some bands trade their ideals for merch sales and some kids trade their outrage for a pair of sneaks, we’ll continue to maintain the ideas, ethics, and fun that lay- however buried- at the foundation of this movement and scene.

KINGDOM is a hardcoreband from Cologne / Germany.
KINGDOM ist eine Hardcore- / Punkband aus Köln, Deutschland.
Die Band wurde Ende 2004 gegründet und spielte zunächst eher „klassischen“ Oldschool-Hardcore mit deutlichem Eastcoast/NY Einschlag. Zwei der Mitglieder spielen nebenher in der Kölner Hardcoreband Cobretti.
2006 wurde nach einigen Live-Konzerten dann das erste Demotape in den Kölner BURNING EARS STUDIOS von PAUL GRACE SMITH (Dumbell, The Damagers uvm.) aufgenommen und wenig später als 4-Track-Tape und CD-R auf dem kleinen D.I.Y. – Label KILL THE HYPE – RECORDS veröffentlicht.
