The Last Fair Day Gone Night version is killer.

Wow, it's good to see Katatonia hasn't completely lost touch with their doom metal roots. [2]

They played this song on Last Fair Day Gone Night live, just after Brave. And while they made Brave sound like one of their modern songs, save for growl vocals, they slowed Nephilim down, made it sound rawer and more distorted, and down it is so damn heavy, reminds me of Winter, it sounds like it belongs on Brave Murder Day.

I actually like the "la la la" section, I think the gentleness of it is actually made to sound quite sinister with the rest of the song. Great doom atmosphere.

The bell like sounds remind me of the music in the Silent Hill games--very creepy.

Wow, it's good to see Katatonia hasn't completely lost touch with their doom metal roots. This song almost reminds me of Draconian.

Well, I have begun to see the genius in having that in such a dark song.

Or humming. But props for originality (in metal).

Great song, but what's up with that there la la la-singing? Would've preferred "ah ah ah" or something if we're gonna have a wordless vocal section. Not that it's bad, and it managed to stay melancholic, somehow.

"I wish to hear it live some day." I did. But since I think this is one of the weaker tracks on NITND, I would have wished for a different song...(That's not to say it was bad)
