It's a shame that fans don't give enough credit to the Ripper era. His performance is top notch here, and the sound of the guitars give a whole new perspective to Priest's classic songs. It's a fucking heavy live record! [2] 500 scrobles and counting...

yup, the one step down-tuned guitars suck balls, restraining Ripper in such a way is really a shame...

I don't understand the positive critics to this CD here.I have been very disappointed listening to this so called " Masterpiece ".Tim,although usually a good singer,is worse on this release and Tipton +Downing aren't better. The setlist is fine but the songs are ALL at least one tone lower as the original scales of the songs. This evokes another atmosphere and character of the songs, but not for the better of them. It's surprising that a singer like Tim Owens, who is 16 years younger than Rob Halford, isn't able to sing far better than the Metal God.Just the opposite. There are better live recordings of priest. The " A Touch Of Evil " Live release is very much better.

I fucking love Halford, he is the Metal God... But in fact Tim Owens and particularly this DVD was the main reason why, I fell in love with Priest...
