Last night, British soul singer Joss Stone played at Parisian venue Le Trianon.
The concert started at 7.30pm and a band I had never heard of before was opening for her. The barely introduced themselves and started to play. I think they were from Eastern Europe, but I'm not sure at all. It lasted 40 minutes, and everybody enjoyed. I didn't like it, because it's a music genre I never listen to. I didn't feel it.
Joss Stone came onto the stage at 8.35pm and spoke a few words of French. We all cheered and we were really happy that she said a couple of words.
She started with
(For God's Sake) Give More Power to the People and we all began to sing with her. She continued with While You're Looking Out For Sugar (both songs from her latest album The Soul Sessions Vol 2).
Afterwards, she sang her big hitYou Had Me (from her 2nd album Mind, Body & Soul), and an extended version Super Duper Love (Are You Diggin on Me?) (from her debut album The Soul Sessions). It was really amazing.
