    Iggy sad he wanted his version to be distorted since he thought it suited the band's style. It's not a case of normal loudness war in other words, it was an artistic decision on Iggys part. Other records like Dinosaur Jr's You're living all over me are also mastered incredibly loud and distorted because it suits the music. Loud mastering doesn't always have to be a bad thing.

    Yeah, the original mix just sounds bizarre: all the wrong parts were mixed in, like they had the faders upside down or something. And why the hell do all the tracks fade out when they had such great endings? If they reduced Iggy's by a few dB it'd be perfect. But a hell of an album either way.

    More like shit, since the original has a horrible mix to it, and the 'remastered' one is loudness war out the ass.
