Hello Friends,

We've undergone a number of changes in the past month--most notably our name, which has changed from Ishgnu Music to Ishgnu Records, as part of our effort to focus the company more on signed artist development and promotion. I wouldn't say that we've felt burned by the independent community (we're not validated by large labels or distributors, either) but finding a core group of artists with a great deal of potential and directing our efforts to their success leaves us feeling less scattered.

Anyway, I invite you to check out our new website, www.ishgnurecords.com, where we are especially proud to highlight both Griffy the Cooper and (A) Band of Pirates, the foremost acts under the label. In the next six months, both groups plan to publish, promising a very nerve-racking (though hopefully eventful) winter for us.

Once again, I thank you for supporting our efforts, and music.
