Athereal I'm exploring Gov't Mule discography, and I haven't been dissapopinted yet. In fact, I'm listening to the Mighty High album, which I thought wouldn't fit my tastes. But I'm liking it a lot! What genre is it exactly, and what are some bands that play music in a similar vein?

I REALLY don't think that... in my opinion their best album (and f or me one of the best albums ever recorded) is The Deep End, vol 1. which was recorded after Woody's death

crunkhero Call me bitter, but no Woody = no Mule. There's never been near the amount of intensity with any of the other bassists ('cept for Mr. Porter). I'll keep picking up their stuff but they've got a long way to go to be the band that they once were.
