This month's selection appears to have a theme on beautifully designed CD packaging. Are the artists finally finding their feet with this "new" medium? In order of the quality of the album art, from best to worst:

The Triptych by one half of Lemon Jelly, Fred Deakin: A three CD pack with 90 (ninety) tracks from Fred's personal record selection and with a bonus CD (that is not the promo disc -- any info on the tracks would be appreciated). This could be painful, but from the first CD which is all I have listened to so far it is not. Strage, yes; excentric, certainly; but an interesting listen, and the 20-page booklet is facinating.
Hissing Fauna, Are You the Destroyer? by of Montreal: Another beautifully packaged album which I am looking forward to hearing.
Myth Takes by !!!: The two CD version and I love the album art but not everybody will agree. Oh, and the music is pretty good as well. Very good indeed.
Grinderman by Grinderman: The artwork is going down…
