Got in late on Saturday night and had to catch up with work so I was thrilled to hear Fraser Anderson on Radio 2 and his interview with Bob Harris...he sounds very sweet and a "normal" guy. The music was so intimate...as if he was in my living room.... Felt I wanted to know what he was singing about, apart from the one about his grandad. Loved the story about the tune he chose and how his wife had just heard the same thing on the radio ! Like my friend below, I too am looking forward to buying the new album and hearing it being played on the radio...although perhaps at not such an ungodly hour. Have to say he WAS good company as I ploughed through the work I'd abandoned earlier in the day. Little Glass Box sounds intriguing....

Wow, i just listened to Fraser on Bob Harris' show on BBC2 playing some tunes off his new album Little Glass Box...the show aired last night and is on all this week at http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/console/b00tmm26...incredible. What was it Harris said: "Absolutely beautiful music -- very delicate, lovely stuff." I heard Fraser last year a couple of times and this really carries on with his incredibly intimate tunes and sound. I can't wait to hear the actual album, especially since it has Danny Thompson and a whole list of other greats on it...but the best thing is how the songs just keep developing and getting even more real.

I'll have to disagree......Fraser Anderson did not seem at all arrogant when I saw him and his music was not boring . As for his "over-confidence": I think there's a complete misinterpretation of his natural ability to produce music which carries human emotion.
