Credits to whoever wrote this: Fragments was a hardcore band from Shafter, CA. Fragments began in late 1995 as Progressive Youth with Gabe Stockton on vocals, Tony Ogle on drums, Matt Flud on bass, and Justin Martin on guitar. They met Will Lindsay when they played with his band, Corrupted Youth. Gabe switched to bass and vocals and Matt switched to guitar. Gabe decided it was better if he just sang, so Matt went back to bass and Will became the other guitarist in June of 1996. In September, the band decided to change their name to Fragments and recorded for a 7”. After this session, they wrote four more songs they liked a lot more. Kevin Clark, who was putting the 7” out, liked the songs a lot more as well. So the band returned to the studio on December 21, 1996 and recorded what became their 7” on Mindreal Records. In July of 1997, the band went on their one and only tour with their friends, Offering. And finally, in December of 1997, they played their last show.
