Following in the footsteps of David Bowie, Brian Eno, Iggy Pop, Nick Cave and many others, Canadian musician Paul McCormick has spent the last 10 years in Berlin, Germany passionately honing his craft and finding his own voice. After years of toughing it out alone with his steel-string, playing rhythm guitar in various alt-rock bands or as frontman of his own band, McCormick decided at the end of 2007 that a new approach was necessary.
Taking a step back to evaluate what he truly wanted to do with his musical ideas he eventually came up with the concept of „Fine Print Pariah“, a band with himself as the only member in the studio performing all of the roles. This elaborate „solo project“ developed further during 2008 and by the beginning of 2009 work began on the debut album which was released on Nov.2, 2009 with 10 songs covering the highs and lows of life on the outside; dark and moody, like the city where they were written and recorded. A live formation of „Fine Print Pariah“ is currently in development…
