Felix Wendeburg or simply Wendeburg is an electronic music artist based in Hamburg/Germany.
In his youth, he became fascinated with radio drama and set out to explore the possibilities of recording his drum kit. Today, he creates musical progressions: deceptively naïve yet intriguingly complex sonic structures on a groovy basis.
His style ("kingsize shuffle" or sometimes "kingsize soufflé"), inspired by both his musical and technical education and the experience gained as a professional sound designer/engineer and active musician, blends various musical genres such as indiependent soundtracks, breakbeat, ambient and radio drama.
His range of interests and the scope of his work further expanded during several years spent working for the theatre. Dramaturgy became an essential element in his music. The development of ideas and mood creates highly expressive musical narratives driving the plot towards its climax.
