You can feel what those people inside the submarine felt that moment. As the song approaches to its end it gets more intense and u can feel they're runnig out of oxygen and time...So beautiful song but such a sad tragedy

The history of the title is sad, but the music is uplifting. Like touching heaven underwater.

@Goldfoot: yep, you're right. Russian submarine, K-141 Kursk came to rest on the sea floor of the Artic Ocean, 85 miles north of Severmorsk, Russia. A smaller explosion followed by a much larger explosion, both of which measured on the ricther scale across Europe, killed most of the 118 men aboard. Cold, dark and with most of his crew members dead, Dimitri Kolesnikov, one of the ranking officers alive, scratched out these final words: “It’s dark here to write, but I’ll try by feel. It seems like there are no chances, ten to twenty percent. Let’s hope that at least someone will read this. Here’s the list of personnel from the other sections, who are now in the ninth and will attempt to get out. Regards to everybody, no need to be desperate. Kolesnikov.”

Arab on hyvin vieraanvaraisia mies.

I heard this was inspired by a submarine that was actually stuck under the ocean for six days. Chilling to think of that while listening to this.
